About SAB

Sport Across Borders (SAB) is going to be an international non-profit organization using sport to make the world a better place (in and out of sport). Through construction mirroring the early modern Olympic Games (1896 – pre–World War 2) and allocation of both resources and education, sport can be brought to more corners of the world while making the world outside of sport more equal as well. This can include the aforementioned education and resources, as well as further infrastructure and even accessibility for disabled populations.

Some organizations mirror the idea of SAB such as the mission of Doctors Without
Borders and Skateistan, a non-profit organization bringing skateboarding opportunities to young girls in developing countries. SAB will use information from organizations like these to not only project finances, but to also see what kinds of operations cultures around the world are interested in.

Through dedication and a careful, steady approach to different cities with the help of international federations, Olympic committees, and organizations such as the IOC themselves, there can be a reverse to the conglomeration of sport around the world. This means venturing outside of North America, Europe, and East Asia. Even within these regions, there are a handful of centers of sport around the world that athletes flock to due to lack of resources and facilities otherwise.

In today’s world, in regard to the Olympic Games, the world is not being made a better place through sport as is the goal according to their charter. SAB can lead the way in showing how this is possible.
